For Distance Runners

Trail Interval Training

This unique course is designed to improve your running strength, stamina and speed and especially your mental toughness in races (and in life). Great for Fall season cross country events and road races from 5K to marathon.

Meet at selective trails each week. Locations vary with a variety of beautiful open space parks from Walnut Creek to Alamo, Danville and San Ramon. Warm-up on easy trails for approximately 1.5 to 2 miles. Re-group, loosen up with active stretches, and prepare for the interval workout. Courses are mapped for loops, distance or timed intervals with recovery trails between. Inclines are slight to maintain quick foot turnover. End with an easy cool down run, a group core workout with mats, medicine balls and music, and a yoga inspired stretch session as the sun goes down. Suzanne offers only the best in running training. Don?t miss this one. It?s only offered once a year and fills fast.
