Strength Training Workout
This is a ?Suzanne Classic?, a unique and complete workout program that has been one of her most popular courses since the mid 1980?s. It is designed to progress week by week giving you strength, power, agility and a great toned look just in time for summer . . . if you start now.
This program is for all abilities. Everyone participates together; just select your appropriate amount of resistance. Suzanne gives a variety of alignment recommendations and alternatives per exercise or body part. It is like having your own personal trainer but in a group setting.
Start your session with a 10-15 minute dynamic warm-up with upbeat music to thoroughly prepare you for your workout. This includes movements to maximize full range of motion, easing into light cardio, progressing to calisthenics, building to sets of intervals, and peaking with plyometrics. Now you feel exhilarated and motivated to challenge yourself as you couldn?t do on your own.
Then begin the strength portion of the workout. This is approximately 45 minutes with combinations of exercises in special sequence. Suzanne shares the secrets and tactics of truly strengthening the abdominal region, defining the arms, toning the back, and sleeking the legs. Yes, there is a tactic for this. If you have participated in this program before, you know Suzanne?s system works.
Complete your session with a 10-minute yoga-inspired stretch session to relax the body and improve flexibility.
Suzanne, as a certified strength and conditioning specialist, has extensive knowledge and expertise in strength training and it shows in the structure and results you achieve in this program. It is hard to perform this type of unique workout on your own (or anywhere else for that matter). This really is a gem of a program.
